Running under Windows 64-bit is recommended since more memory will be available for the toolpath calculation which will allow you to run bigger jobs and potentially also reduce calculation time for large jobs since HSM Performance Pack can avoid entering the memory conservation mode. HSM Performance Pack can fully utilize Windows 64-bit during toolpath generation.
